I am a native Baltimorean, born to work with animals. I first started working with dogs for Anne Arundel Dog & Cat Hospital at the age of 14. Bathing, grooming, and technical skill work were all included in the position of “kennel staff� 35 years ago. Now, of course, all of these positions are specialized. A 6 year grooming apprenticeship started at the age of 16 which lead to my first grooming shop in Anne Arundel County at the age of 22. After 8 successful years I relocated the business to Fells Point in 1987. Since then the shop has received the “Best of Baltimore� award and the Mayor’s award for outstanding community involvement. For over 20 years I’ve been dedicated to serving the community with advice and kindness.
